Started in 2007, National Record Store Day is an annual event that takes place on the third Saturday of April and brings together musical artists, vinyl record connoisseurs and fans for a day dedicated not only to independently-owned record stores, but also to appreciating music's humble beginnings.
Anima Frater hung out with Craig Brown, the owner of Heights Vinyl and enjoyed a live music session with local indie group Tighten' Up.
